CODE OF CONDUCT
PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT
- Bring the appropriate equipment when attending training e.g. boots, shin pads, clothing, drink etc
- Be ready to start on time and to use the time before sessions to begin their own personal warm up.
- Be punctual for all training venues and wear appropriate clothing for the occasion.
- Remove all jewellery before arrival at coaching sessions. Black Country Goalkeeper Coaching cannot be held responsible for the theft or loss of any valuables.
- Report any injuries sustained to the coach as soon as possible so that an injury report can be completed.
- Inform your coach upon your arrival if you have any injuries, (no matter where the injury occurred).
- Do not use foul or abusive language.
- Give maximum effort and try your best during training.
- Follow a lifestyle appropriate to your development, e.g. eating, drinking, relaxing and sleeping sensibly, as well as spending leisure time positively.
- To be aware that Black Country Goalkeeper Coaching has a Child Protection Policy.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct at all times.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS CODE OF CONDUCT
- Be responsible for ensuring their child arrives on time and are collected promptly.
- Inform the coach or a member of his/her coaching staff prior to the session if their child is unable to attend for any reason.
- Inform the coaches if the designated parent/carer is unable to collect the child.
- If your child arrives at training with any visible signs of injury. You must advise a member of the coaching staff. Failure to do this will result in your child being asked to explain the injuries before he/she can participate in the training.
- Not to coach from the sideline.
- Recognise that your child’s involvement in football is primarily for his/her enjoyment.
- To adhere to the Code of Conduct.
